This home has been transformed into a warm space with mid-century modern decor and amenities that provide a relaxing experience at your home away from home. Clara's Cottage puts you in the heart of all the activities The Villages offers, including pickleball facilities, golf courses, community pools, and 3,000 clubs. You can also experience live entertainment, shopping, and dining at nearby Brownwood Paddock Square, Sawgrass Grove, and the brand-new Eastport Square (opening in late 2025)! After a fun-filled day of recreation around town, retreat to Clara's Cottage, where each bedroom provides the utmost comfort for a great night's rest.
Let's talk about the kitchen! There's ample room for entertaining, and the kitchen is stocked with all the equipment and utensils you need to prepare a home-cooked meal. Or, take the night off and order in. DoorDash delivers takeout from many local restaurants. Sit back and relax on the comfortable sectional sofa while watching your favorite streaming channel on the 50" Roku TV.

After your reservation is confirmed, you’ll receive helpful messages leading up to your stay.
Here’s how access works:1 day before arrival, you’ll receive a unique access code for the Schlage Electronic Keyless Entry Lock on the front door.
This code is created just for you and is required to enter the home.
Forgot your code? No problem! There is an emergency lockbox with a physical key on the right side of the home. If needed, I’ll provide you with the code.

No, golf cart rentals are not included. However, I provide a list of five trusted companies that offer rentals with delivery and pick-up. Prices range from $60/day to $175/week, with monthly rates available. Please book early to secure availability, especially during peak seasons. You’re also welcome to explore other vendors on your own—I do not receive a referral fee and simply provide the list for your convenience.

Less than 5 minutes: Hogeye Preserve, Spanish Moss Nature Trail, and Fenney Grill
3 minutes: Magnolia Plaza (Publix, CVS, Ava Nails, Foxtail Coffee, Marco’s Pizza & more)
5 minutes: Edna’s on the Green
10 minutes: Brownwood Paddock Square, Sawgrass Grove, and Eastport
20 minutes: Lake Sumter Landing
30 minutes: Spanish Springs Town Square
50 minutes: Orlando International Airport

Yes, absolutely! You’ll just need one of the following to access amenities:
🛺 Lifestyle ID:
Required for access to golf, sports pools, and clubs.
$50 fee (covers 2 IDs) – paid in cash or check when you pick them up at Brownwood Sales Center.
5-day lead time required for processing.
I’ll handle the request; they’ll be ready when you arrive.
🎟️ Guest Pass:
Great for guests not planning to golf or join clubs.
Includes access to family and adult pools.
All guests must carry the original Guest ID with a photo ID when using amenities.
Guests under 19 must be accompanied by a qualifying adult with a valid ID.

Clara’s Cottage is fully stocked with everyday essentials—linens, towels, a coffee station, kitchenware, and even laundry soap to get you started. You’ll just need to bring your personal items, favorite groceries, and any streaming app login info (for the Roku Smart TV). Most guests also bring sunscreen, walking shoes, and swimsuits to enjoy all the nearby amenities!
Need a Golf Cart During Your Stay? Plan Ahead!
Exploring the area by golf cart is a popular choice, but rentals can book up quickly—especially during busy seasons. If you're interested in having a cart during your visit, it's best to reserve early. I have a list of five trusted local companies that offer delivery and pick-up, with rates ranging from $60 per day to $175 per week. Monthly rates vary. Please note that golf cart rentals are not included in your stay, and availability is not guaranteed.
