Opryland
It’s a hotel, covention center, botanical garden, indoor water park and a short walk to the Grand Ole Opry and Opryland Mills Mall. When planning your trip to Nashville Tennessee, if you are not staying at this hotel, be sure to plan a day to explore the Opryland Area. I am all about food so let’s start with the goodness to eat at the hotel.
Dining at The Opryland Hotel
Cascades - casual serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in the atrium
Fuse Sports Bar - burgers, salads, sandwiches and steak
Jack Daniels- Southern inspired food. The short rib melt sounds delicious
Try the Old Hickory Steakhouse if you are craving a good steak and French onion soup. Don’t forget dessert! Open serving dinner only
For the Italian food lovers you cannot go wrong with Ravello
I am not a big steakhouse person but Mexican cuisine, you have won my heart.. Solario Cantina is on my list.
You will also find a food court for light meals, pizza and snacks.
Take a backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry.
This guided tour will cost about $39 and is money well spent. Experience the thrill where country music legends make music each and every week. Be sure to see who is performing at the Opry during the evening. The big stars have been know to just show up too. Any active member of the Grand Ole Opry can drop in for a set anytime!
Opryland Mills Mall is filled with shopping, restaurants and fun experiences. Book at table at the Aquarium Restaurant when the mermaids are performing for a real treat, visit Madame Tussauds Wax Musuem or catch the latest movie on a rainy day.
