Glassblowing in Orlando, FL

I love exploring my own backyard. Orlando, Florida has so much to offer visitors and residents that is not adventure park related. You just have to look.

The sign up process for this glassblowing experience was quick and easy. Just visit their website and find the experience that fits your needs. For example you can book a private class for a more in-depth event, date night class for 2 or even private groups of 7-20 guests. Bring you own food and drinks to make it a special occassion.

The staff was knowledgable and very accommodating of my camera gear and filming.

Helpful tips

  • Wear closed toe shoes

  • The studio is hot. The glass and wamer furnace reach 2300°. When I attended in October the temperature in Florida was 82° with no humidity. The studio temperature was 120°.

  • You cannot take your creation with you at the end of class. It must cool down overnight. Plan on returning to pick your glass piece at a later date or have it shipped. They make no guarantees it will arrive in one piece.

The Orlando Glassblowing Center is located at 130 Bomar Court, Suite #130 Longwood, Florida 32750. Call to check hours of operation. During Fall of 2022 they are closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Need dinner recommendations? Try The Ravenous Pig in Winter Park. The food is outstanding. I did attempt to have a drink and dinner in the outdoor Beer Garden but received a glass of water and no follow-up for my order. I gave the servers 15 minutes to return for an order. Guests around me who arrived after me were taken care of… I moved to the indoor bar and received excellent service. Happy I stayed.
